Inclusion Alberta Family Resource Centre – Grande Prairie presents:

Information Session: What are FSCD (Family Support for Children with Disabilities) and FMS (Family Managed Supports)?

Inclusion Alberta, in partnership with Inclusion Grande Prairie, is excited to announce the third information session to be hosted by the Inclusion Alberta Family Resource Centre – Grande Prairie.

Join us for an information session on FSCD (Family Support for Children with Disabilities) and FMS (Family Managed Supports), funding sources that support a family member with a developmental disability to live a full life in community. These funding sources can seem intimidating at first, however thousands of families have found the work manageable and the benefits significant.

This session will be offered twice. Please choose the date that works best for you. This session is virtual and families from across the province are welcome to join!

About the Inclusion Alberta Family Resource Centre – Grande Prairie:

The Inclusion Alberta Family Managed Supports Resource Centre – Grande Prairie supports families with adults and children with developmental disabilities to plan for an inclusive life using funding provided by Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) and Family Managed Supports (FMS). The Centre supports families to create a vision and plan for a meaningful life, fully included in the community, and access the supports and opportunities needed to realize that vision with their family member with a developmental disability.

This session is free, but please register your spot at the link above to join us. If you require assistance in registering, please contact Laura Gerow-Burrin at the Resource Centre, FRC-GP@inclusionalberta.org or 780-882-9477.
