Finding employment for your family member with an intellectual disability
Are you a family member or support staff of an individual with an intellectual disability, looking to help them find meaningful employment? Join us for a two-hour online workshop designed to empower families and staff to harness the power of personal networks to open doors to employment.
When: Tuesday, October 22, from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

In this workshop, you will:
- Learn practical strategies to tap into personal connections to find job opportunities.
- Gain insight into how others have successfully used their networks to secure employment for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Build confidence in approaching potential employers and advocating for inclusive hiring practices.
- Exchange ideas and experiences with other families and staff members.
- Learn how to facilitate natural supports in the workplace.
- Use FMS or FSCD funding to ensure successful on-the-job support
