Crafting a Vision for an Inclusive Life

Crafting a Vision for an Inclusive Life

When: Saturday, October 19, 2024. 10am-3pm

Where: GRIT  (12852 – 141 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5L 4N8)

Join us at the Inclusion Alberta and Inclusion Edmonton Region workshop, “Crafting a Vision for an Inclusive Life”, as we explore the important questions families have when planning for and with their loved ones with intellectual disabilities. Through our extensive experience, we have discovered that creating a compelling vision for a meaningful life is an incredibly potent tool in establishing a truly inclusive and fulfilling life for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

A clear vision acts as a guiding light, helping you stay focused and avoiding a path of segregation. It doesn’t matter what age or stage of life someone is in; it is crucial to create or refine a vision for a good life.

Developing and refining a life-enhancing vision takes intention, time, and reflection. Our event will provide valuable insights, practical guidance, and inspiring stories that will help you stay focused and navigate the path towards a fulfilling and inclusive life. Let’s come together to envision a future filled with hope and possibilities.

Families and FMS/FSCD staff are encouraged to attend. Lunch will be provided.
