Giving Tuesday 2020

Once again this year, Inclusion Alberta is participating in a global movement of giving called Giving Tuesday on December 1, 2020.   Giving Tuesday is a movement for everyone who wants to give something back this holiday season. We would be honoured if you chose to contribute to Inclusion Alberta this Giving Tuesday.

We have a few ways you can give back this year:

1. Make a Donation: Your tax-deductible Giving Tuesday gift of even $25, $50 or $100 will enable Inclusion Alberta to:
  • Support more families in crisis.  We currently advocate for over 120 individuals and families on any given day, who are in desperate need of support and assistance. Your support can provide a child with disabilities with the communication device she needs to communicate with her family or an adult with a safe place to live.
  • Ensure more children with developmental disabilities, their teachers and schools have access to quality inclusion.  Research shows the academic results of all students tends to improve in an inclusive classroom.  Your support will enable us to offer many more schools and teachers the resources they need to provide a quality inclusive education to all children.
  • Support more individuals with developmental disabilities in their inclusive post-secondary education, giving them, among many other benefits, an 80% likelihood of being employed.  You can help these young adults to have a more promising future by supporting their inclusion in colleges, universities and technical institutes.
  • Create more employment opportunities for youth and adults with developmental disabilities by supporting our Rotary and Youth Employment Partnerships, which together have created nearly 600 jobs to date. A remarkable achievement that requires your support to be sustained.

Inclusion Alberta sincerely appreciates every contribution and all donations go directly to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
