Rotary Employment Partnership: White Cap Red Deer

March 10, 2025

Inclusion Alberta’s Rotary Employment Partnership is creating life-changing job opportunities while providing an untapped labour market to Alberta’s business community. The partnership has created over 850 jobs to date in areas such as food service to administration to labour, and everything in between.

White Cap in Red Deer recently hired Dan as a Customer Service Associate with support from Inclusion Alberta’s Rotary Employment Partnership. Dan works in the warehouse assisting with receiving stock and picking and loading customer orders.

Shawn Donaghy, Branch Manager at White Cap Red Deer, says that since joining the team Dan has fit in seamlessly and has made immediate positive contributions to the operation.

“Dan shows up ready to work hard every day, he jumps in where needed and asks for more work when he’s done his tasks,” says Shawn. “He is well liked by his team, and we’ve already heard comments from our customers about Dan’s friendly nature and big smile. We at White Cap are proud to support our community and partner with Inclusion Alberta.”

Thank you, White Cap, for your commitment to inclusive employment and congratulations to Dan on your new job!
