Canada Dental Care Plan info sessions
The Government of Canada recently launched the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) which aims to ease financial barriers to accessing oral health care for eligible Canadian residents who have an adjusted family net income of less than $90,000 and do not have access to dental coverage. The CDCP will cover a wide range of services to help keep teeth and gums healthy as well as prevent and treat oral health issues and diseases.
Persons with a valid Disability Tax Credit (DTC) certificate and children under the age of 18 will be able to apply online beginning June 1, 2024. Seniors aged 65 and above can apply now. All remaining eligible Canadians will be able to apply in 2025.
