Yet\, too often\, behaviour is mislabeled as challenging or complex\, leading to misunderstanding\, isolation or even punitive responses rather than meaningful support.   \nJoin us in a session exploring how people with intellectual disabilities are frequently misunderstood and how we can shift our perspective to recognize behaviour as communication. Participants will be introduced to positive and practical approaches that can be used by families\, FMS or FSCD staff and service providers to better understand and respond to communication.
