DESCRIPTION:The Darrell Cook Family Managed Supports Resource Centre and the Inclusion Alberta Family Resource Centre – Grande Prairie present the FMS Learning Series 2021/2022: \nExploring Opportunities for Creating Employment\nSaturday\, January 22\, 2022 \n9am – 12pm \nPresenter: Wendy McDonald \nRegister here for a Zoom link \nEmployment has a central role in most people’s lives\, offering purpose and meaning to one’s life\, in addition to an income. The vast majority of individuals with developmental disabilities can be successfully employed at least part-time and many full-time. The resources available through FMS can be effectively utilized to both create employment possibilities and to provide on-the-job supports to ensure success\, when and where needed.
