Community Engagement Through Education (Inclusion Alberta Youth Speaker Series)

Participants will hear from experienced education professionals from both K-12 and post-secondary perspectives. Speakers will share their experiences and discuss how educational institutes can be collaborative community partners and champions of inclusion. They will share how being included in the regular education community can help build up ones social capital and the positive, lifelong effects that has for people with and without developmental disabilities.
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in facilitated discussion following the speakers’ presentations.
