March 2, 2021

The Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit (CRCB) is commonly known as a pandemic-related benefit for parents who have to give up 50% or more of their work due to school or day care closures. But did you know it’s also available to those who are missing work in order to care for a close family member who requires “supervisory care” at home, regardless of their age? As such if you’ve had to give up 50% or more of your work to look after a child or adult family member with developmental disabilities who is at home because their support or program was unavailable, or they have to self-isolate or are at risk of serious health complications from Covid-19, then you might be eligible to this benefit. Only one of these circumstances has to exist to be eligible.

Qualifying households are eligible for up to $500 a week. To learn more, call 1-833-966-2099 or visit this websitePlease read the eligibility requirements carefully.
