Community Development Coordinator (Community Development and Family Engagement) (Part-Time) - Inclusion Lloydminster

Inclusion Lloydminster and Inclusion Alberta foster family leadership and advocacy in the pursuit of fully inclusive community lives for children and adults with developmental disabilities.  We are seeking individuals with excellent communication (written and verbal) and inter-personal skills to further our vision of inclusion within our community development & family engagement initiatives.


The Engaging Families Creating Good Lives initiative focuses on family leadership and community development activities.  These activities foster families’ visions of an inclusive life and community awareness and opportunities to realize an inclusive community. 

The Community Development Coordinator assists with coordinating events, follow up to event participants and responsibilities within fund development.

We are seeking an individual who is committed to the inclusion of persons with developmental disabilities in community life. The candidate will have excellent inter-personal and team work skills and a university or college education in disability studies or a related field.  Equivalencies will be considered.

This is a part-time position (10 hours per week) with the possibility of additional hours for an ideal candidate.  Flexibility in scheduling is required. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
