Ensuring families understand their role as an employer in directing the sta they employ, and the required key skill, knowledge and values in being a good employer can provide a road map for successful hiring and retention.

This session will explore:

  • Staff roles, values and needed skills

  • Training opportunities

  • Creating a job description

  • Advertising

  • Offer Letters

  • Staff orientation and ongoing communication
